Daily Papers submissions can’t be edited after they’re created, and the submission date is fixed
based on the original entry. If a paper was submitted by someone else with an incorrect date, the
authors cannot resubmit their own version until the existing Daily Papers entry is removed.
In cases like this, the Papers team can withdraw the current listing so the authors can submit the
correct version themselves. Once the entry is removed, the arXiv ID becomes available again and the
updated submission will index normally.
If a reset of the associated Papers indexing is needed, the team can handle that as part of the
removal process.
