Hello Meta Llama team,

My access request to meta-llama/Meta-Llama-3-8B-Instruct was rejected.
I would appreciate it if you could review the request again.

Organization/affiliation: Shanghai University
Country/region: China

I need the model as a required dependency of NVIDIA's open-source
Kimodo motion-generation project. Kimodo uses the model through
LLM2Vec solely as a frozen text encoder. I will not redistribute or
publicly release the model weights.

My intended use is academic research and
non-commercial development. I will comply with the Meta Llama 3
Community License and Acceptable Use Policy.

Could you please clarify the reason for the rejection and reconsider
my request?
